It’s that time of the year again when UIO organizes the traditional Poikkitieteellinen Mölkky Tournament at Pukinmäen hiekkakenttä!

Poikkitieteellinen Mölkky welcomes every student from every field of study. Similar events are rare. Everyone is welcome here!

A maximum of 64 teams will be accepted, with a team size of up to five (5) people maximum. Sign up quickly as spots fill up fast. One person buys tickets for the whole team at once and acts as the team contact person.

How does it work?

1. Gather an unbeatable Mölkky team of 3-5 people.

2. Come up with a name for your team.

3. The team contact person buys tickets for the event and provides the team name at the time of purchase.

4. Train like crazy.

5. Come and enjoy the spring weather and Mölkky at Pukinmäen hiekkakenttä on April 18th. Detailed competition instructions will be provided on-site! Be there on time!

Price: 4€ / player for METKA’s Wappupass holders and UIO members. For others, the fun costs 7€ / player. The team contact person pays the total amount at once. The price includes the team’s spot in the competition and overall patches for your team. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. The event can be spectated for free.

The first games start around 12:00 PM.

Even if you don’t participate in the tournament yourself, come and cheer for your favorite team to victory! The atmosphere on-site is absolutely fantastic! The event is alcohol-free.
